Up2U Apparel concept started when our daughter wanted a logo on a top for her birthday party.

When we enquired with another apparel business they quoted $75 for the top with just one print and one colour. We thought that was far too expensive and maybe we could do it ourselves at a more affordable price.

So we started off just doing HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) on tees, hoodies, and shorts, singlets for family and friends, and then new customers that came from word of mouth once they saw the quality of garments, the design, and affordability.

Sublimation then came along as the demand for bigger orders from sporting and workgroups grew.

The name UP2U Apparel came from a softball team that we used to help out with HTV on their playing tops. So I asked if they would mind if we use the name UP2U for our apparel business. Not a problem they said as they also had another team up2me.

We are hoping to eventually pass the business onto our kids who are all very involved in sports either by playing or coaching.
